Various acts such as Scissor Sisters, Moby and Snoop Dogg will work their way around the country for various Summadayze events, some taking time to perform at Bondi's huge Shore Thing event on New Year's Eve.
Over the New Year period, Moby and Bliss N Eso will perform at Adelaide's Summadayze, followed by Snoop Dogg, Scissor Sisters and Calvin Harris taking to the stage in Melbourne. All these acts will then head up to the Gold Coast for Summafieldayze on January 2.
Perth's Summadayze's lineup includes Grandmaster Flash, Erick Morillo and Markus Schulz as well as headliners Snoop Dogg, Scissor Sisters and Pendulum.
Harris, Snoop Dogg and Pendulum will also perform at Shore Thing in Bondi on New Year's Eve.
Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello performed at Bluesfest in Australia this year, while a record number of crowd members at the Big Day Out collapsed from extreme dehydration.
