The record, titled Tha Carter IV, will be released in the UK on August 28 and in the US on August 29.
The album includes Lil Wayne's recent US singles '6 Foot 7 Foot', 'John' and 'How To Love', as well as upcoming Drake collaboration 'She Will'.
The album was mixed by a number of producers including The Smeezingtons, Tha Bizness and Kanye West.
Lil Wayne confirmed last month that work on the album had finished, after the rapper had to put back the release of the record earlier this year.
The 28-year-old recently revealed plans to release a joint album with Drake, despite claiming at an earlier date that he may retire after the release of Tha Carter IV to concentrate on family life.

2. 'Blunt Blowin'
3. 'MegaMan'
4. '6 Foot 7 Foot' (feat. Cory Gunz)
5. 'Nightmares Of The Bottom'
