The group are supporting the drive, which aims to fight music piracy, by approving the creation of a cartoon advert which highlights the value and importance of music.
A still from the clip appears below:

The film - animated and directed by Lee Gingold - follows a number of well received films by the campaign which feature the likes of Kate Bush, Paloma Faith, Elbow and Iron Maiden.
The advert was approved by Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono and George Harrison's estate, and portrays Gingold's personal connection with the band's music and how it has marked various milestones throughout his life.
Music Matters was launched in March last year with the support of Tinchy Stryder, Duffy and songwriter Guy Chambers.
