V Festival 2011 weather update: Dry, sunny intervals

V Festival will see mainly dry and sunny conditions throughout the weekend, the Met Office predicts.

According to Metcheck, Chelmsford will stay dry and sunny for the entire weekend (August 20-21). Temperatures in the daytime are expected to reach a high of 23°C, and a low of 16°C in the evenings.

Meanwhile, Stafford is also expected to stay dry for the majority of the weekend, though light showers are forecast on Saturday morning.

Temperatures in Eston Park will peak at 17°C on Saturday and 21°C on Sunday, dropping to 14°C and 9°C in the evenings respectively.

Eminem, Rihanna, Arctic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal and Chase & Status are among the headliners at this year's V Festival. Indie-rock group Hard-Fi are the latest act to be announced for the event and will play the Undercover Stage.
