Katy Perry has earned her sixth number single on the Billboard Hot 100 with 'Last Friday Night'.

The track, produced by Max Martin and Dr Luke, marks her fifth consecutive chart-topper from her Teenage Dream album, matching the record set by Michael Jackson's 1987 album Bad.

The milestone comes as a result of combining sales of the original song and its remix, which features Missy Elliot and accounted for 25% of its downloads this week.
