Nicole Scherzinger: 'Killer Love shows a whole new side to me'

Nicole Scherzinger has claimed that her debut solo album Killer Love is more mature than the music she made with the Pussycat Dolls..

Scherzinger launched the album in the UK earlier this year, reaching number eight on the UK album charts, and will release an alternate tracklisting for the LP in the US this November.

"[Killer Love] will not be finished until the very last minute," Scherzinger told Billboard. "I don't know if I will ever feel like I have finished the album."

"I want to share a whole other side of me," the singer explained, regarding the album's tone. "It's a lot deeper than the Pussycat Dolls."

Scherzinger said that she was also still deciding which of her songs to perform on The X Factor when it premieres next month.

"If it were up to me I would be performing every week!" she joked. "I have to make sure I have the right song. It has to be a song that people will love."

Scherzinger will release her new single 'Wet' on August 24.
