The dubstep duo, otherwise known as Dan Stephens and Joe Ray, collected the accolade one week after scoring their first UK singles chart number one with their latest track 'Promises'.
Nero's arrival puts an end to the late Amy Winehouse's three-week reign in pole position with Back To Black, as the celebrated 2006 LP slips behind Adele's 21 to three.
Ex-Busted and Fightstar singer Charlie Simpson also achieves a respectable debut at six with his first solo album Young Pilgrim, while an Ultimate Collection from late folk legend John Denver lands right behind at seven.
Chase & Status scramble to the back end of the Top 10 after rising three to nine with No More Idols, but Rihanna just fails to follow them into the top-sellers despite lifting the same number with Loud, which is this week's 11.
Meanwhile, Amy Winehouse's 2003 debut album Frank, which achieved a new peak of three after her death late last month, slips eight to 12, as Randy Crawford's Best Of record exits the Top 10 as well by falling six to 13.
Lady GaGa's Born This Way album also tallies its first week outside the single digits, finishing at 15 from last Sunday's nine, while Planet Pit by Pitbull drops five to 16.
However, Noah And The Whale and Take That both manage to sneak back into the upper half of the chart, as their Last Night On Earth and Progress albums advance two apiece to 19 and 20 respectively.
