Leeds Festival 2011 weather update: Light rain, sunny intervals

Leeds Festival will see a mixture of light showers and sunny intervals this weekend, it has been forecast.

Early-bird campers to the site on Thursday will experience light showers upon their arrival, with temperatures hovering around 19°C, BBC Weather predicts.

The first official day will see music fans experience light showers with the climate remaining at 19°C. Muse's Friday headline slot will see the temperature dip to 12°C.

Saturday will brighten up, with sunny intervals and temperatures of 18°C forecast.

The climate will slip to 11°C in the evening for My Chemical Romance's headline performance.

Fans going to see Pulp and The Strokes on Sunday will experience temperatures of 16°C and moments of sunshine throughout the day. The climate at night will hit a weekend low of 8°C.
