Amy Winehouse has been honoured at this year's MTV Video Music Awards.
Russell Brand and Tony Bennett paid tribute to the late Back to Black singer, before Bruno Mars performed a version of her hit song 'Valerie'.

Brand, who has previously written of his admiration for Winehouse, called her a "genius" and compared her soulful vocals to Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.
He went on to talk about her "disease" of addiction, concluding: "A lot of people just get the disease, not the talent."
Bennett introduced footage of himself and Winehouse recording their collaboration 'Body & Soul' at Abbey Road Studios in London. The song will feature on Bennett's upcoming album Duets II.

Mars then took to the stage to perform 'Valerie' - Winehouse and Mark Ronson's classic Zutons cover. He encouraged the crowd to clap along and join him in showing appreciation for the 'Rehab' popstar.
Winehouse died in her North London home at the age of 27 last month.
