Nicki Minaj has revealed that her gay guy alter ego Roman will feature on her new album.

The hip-hop star first introduced Roman on her debut record Pink Friday with the opening track 'Roman's Revenge', which is a collaboration with Eminem.

The Daily Star quotes Minaj as saying: "My new album is going to feature a lot more of Roman, the gay guy who lives inside me. It won't disappoint."

The 28-year-old unveiled the video for her new single 'Fly', which features Rihanna, after Sunday night's MTV VMAs.

Speaking of collaborating with the Bajan star, Minaj added: "I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time."

Minaj recently joined country singer Taylor Swift on stage for a rendition of her recent US and UK top ten hit 'Super Bass'.
