The 'Price Tag' singer, real name Jessica Cornish, has been nominated for five prizes for the awards ceremony, to be held in Glasgow on October 5.
Jessie J is up for 'Best Song' for 'Do It Like a Dude', as well as 'Best Album', 'Best Newcomer', 'Best Video' and 'Best UK Act'.
Adele has been nominated for four prizes, including 'Best Album' and 'Best UK Act'. Rappers Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32 are also up for four awards.
"I am so honoured to be nominated," said Jessie J. "I have watched so many of the artists I look up to being nominated, winning awards and performing. It's amazing to be in the company of such amazing talent."

Katy B, Chipmunk and N-Dubz are among the other artists up for 'Best UK Act', while Rizzle Kicks, Ed Sheeran and Maverick Sabre will fight it out for 'Best Newcomer'.
Beyoncé, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj and Cee Lo Green are also nominated for 'Best International Act', along with Snoop Dogg, Alexis Jordan, Aloe Blacc, Jason Derulo and Wiz Khalifa.
Kanya King, founder of the MOBOs, said: "We are very pleased with the level of this year's nominees. These artists have shown real determination to make it happen."
The winners will be chosen by a public vote, which will commence on the MOBO website tonight. Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan are confirmed to be performing at the event.
Amy Winehouse will receive a special honour during the ceremony at Glasgow's SECC.
