Kylie Minogue returns to the studio

Pop singer Kylie Minogue has returned to the recording studio for the first time since being diagnosed with cancer last May.

The star has reportedly been working on her new album for a week, despite admitting to considering giving up her career in music altogether.

She told the Sydney Sun-Herald, "I have thought of retiring to a little house and giving it all up, but I always look forward...It's been a long hard road, but I'm feeling good and now I want to get back into the swing of things."

Minogue also revealed that, despite returning to her career, she wants to start a family. She said "...I feel broody. It's only natural. It hasn't happened yet, but I hope it will someday "
