Madonna confirms new album release date

The 53-year-old announced that the lead single from her latest LP will be unveiled in either February or March next year with the record itself following in the spring.
She revealed the news while promoting her newest directorial offering W.E. at the Venice Film Festival.
"I've started a little bit of work in the studio," she told Sweden's Sveriges Television. "And then when I go back to New York until the end of the year I'll be recording."

When asked what fans could expect from the album, Madonna jested: "More good music... I'm looking forward to working on it."
Madonna will reportedly reunite with her Ray Of Light producer William Orbit and collaborate with songwriter Jean Baptiste on her new album.
