Digital Spy has teamed up with the event to support the award, which will be announced on September 29 at Camden's Roundhouse.
Artists nominated in the category are: Chase & Status, Flying Lotus, Katy Perry, Professor Green, The Streets and Tinie Tempah.
Adele and Jessie J lead this year's awards, with multiple nominations for prizes including 'Best Female Artist' and 'Best Song'.
The ceremony will be filmed and broadcast on ITV2 on October 3 at 10pm and October 7 at 7pm.
