The Wanted have revealed that they plan to thank Justin Bieber for inviting them on his world tour.

The boyband will open for the teen pop sensation during the South American leg of his tour after having some success on the Latin music charts with their recent single 'Glad You Came'.

Band member Nathan Sykes told the Daily Star: "'Glad You Came' got to number three in Mexico and hopefully it's crossed over a bit to Brazil.

"It's an absolute honour to support Justin as we did at London's O2 Arena. He's a really nice guy and we didn't go to him begging, he actually came to us."

The Wanted insisted that they will thank the 'Baby' star by taking him to a Manchester United football match when he is next in the UK.

The group have announced that the third single to be lifted from their forthcoming album will be 'Lightning'.

The song will be available to download on October 30, while their second studio record will be released in the UK on November 7.
