The singer-songwriter follows his recent sold-out acoustic tour with a show at London's Union Chapel on Thursday, October 27 and a second at York's Grand Opera House on Friday, October 28.
Adams will play songs from his upcoming studio album, the Glyn Johns-produced Ashes & Fire, which is released on October 10 via PAX-AM/Columbia.
Tickets for the new live performances go on sale this Friday, September 16 and are priced at £32.50 for London and £26 for York.
Further live dates will be announced shortly.
Last year, Adams released a two-disc collection called III / IV, which had been "in the vault since 2006" and was "fresh from the mastering plant".
Adams will reportedly feature on three-disc charity compilation Live From Nowhere Near You: Volume Two in aid of homeless youth organisation Outside In.
