Lady GaGa leads this year's MTV EMA nominations with six nods.
The 'You and I' singer is trailed by Katy Perry and Adele, with all three due to go head to head in the 'Best Song' category.
Bruno Mars, Jennifer Lopez and Coldplay are among a host of other artists up for awards.
The MTV Europe Music Awards will take place at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 6. It will be broadcast live on MTV.
