The band have recorded a cover of The The's 1983 track 'This Is the Day', which will feature on their upcoming greatest hits compilation National Treasures - The Complete Singles.
The accompanying music video chronicles the band's musical journey to the current day, showcasing footage of the trio throughout their career.
National Treasures will be a collection of songs taken from all ten studio albums by the Manic Street Preachers and will also feature a brand new song which has yet to be debuted, reports NME.
The group will play an "immense" one-off show in London at the O2 Arena on December 17, with bassist Nicky Wire describing the project as a "completely unique thing" that they will never do again.
