Dave Grohl has said that he is not surprised over Adele's huge success this year.
The Foo Fighters frontman insisted that the general decline of music sales is not the fault of piracy, technology or industry bosses, but because of the state of music itself.

Explaining why he thinks the industry is struggling, Grohl told USA Today: "It's the music. People are blown away that Adele is selling so many records. I'm not. That record is great!
"She's got a beautiful voice, and people are shocked when they hear actual talent."
He added: "Music should be more than ad placement, more than synthesised looping of a voice that's been Auto-Tuned and an image made to look like a superhero or supermodel."
Adele has sold over ten million copies of her second studio album 21 worldwide since its release in January.
Analysts have predicted that those sales could rise to 13 million units by Christmas.
Foo Fighters serenaded members of the Westboro Baptist Church protesting at one of their concerts over the weekend.
