The singer was performing hits from her 19 and 21 albums at Hammersmith Apollo when the incident happened.
Just before starting a rendition of 'Rumour Has It', Adele stopped the set after noticing the fan fainting in the stalls.
She asked: "Has someone fainted?" before medics rushed over to help the collapsed crowd member.
After the fan was safely removed from the audience, Adele joked: "That's proper rock 'n' roll."
The 23-year-old will play a second night at Hammersmith Apollo tonight, before moving on to the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday.
