The guitarist explained that he would like to perform "something blues" sounding if he were to join the legendary group on a possible tour in the future.
Beck told BBC 6Music: "I've just put my foot well into it, but I would, it would have to be something Blues or something that could show what I can do. I love them."
Beck added that he doesn't regret not working with the Stones in the past, saying that they were interested in different things.
"I don't think I would have lasted, number one, [and] I don't think they were on the same path," he said.
Beck, 67, will be presented with this year's 'Living Legend' award from Classic Rock magazine, which has previously been won by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Lemmy and Ozzy Osbourne.
Mick Jagger recently hinted that The Rolling Stones may embark on a 50th anniversary tour next year.
