Exclusive: Kelly Clarkson: 'Steven Tyler is a hot, talented rock god' - video

Kelly Clarkson has admitted that she is attracted to American Idol judge Steven Tyler.

The singer, who won the first series of the talent show in 2002, said that she is "jealous" that she didn't get to meet him on the series because he is a "rock god".

Clarkson told Digital Spy of the latest Idol judges: "First of all I'm jealous that Steven Tyler wasn't there when I was doing it just so I could look at him! I think they're very cool and they bring something different to the table.

"J. Lo's very much that performer that's done everything - she's an actor, singer, songwriter... dancer - she's done everything. She's the ultimate entertainer. You can take something from [her] and think, 'You know what, you might be right.'"

She continued: "Steven Tyler is a rock god - he's so hot and talented. They have something to offer to the show that previous judges haven't."

Clarkson's new single 'Mr Know It All' is out now in the US and in the UK on October 16. Her album Stronger follows on October 24.
