Chipmunk has announced plans to play a free gig for his fans.

The rapper will celebrate his 21st birthday by putting on a free show at London's IndigO2 in conjunction with Best Buy.

The star will perform hits from his debut album I Am Chipmunk as well as his top ten follow-up Transition on November 10.

London-based pop newcomers SoundGirl will appear as the night's opening act after releasing their debut album Something To Dream About on October 24.

Tickets for the 2,500-capacity venue will be available at Best Buy stores nationwide, free with every purchase over £10 from October 17. The passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The show follows similar concerts organised by Best Buy which included appearances from Ellie Goulding, Alesha Dixon and Alexis Jordan.

Chipmunk will support US rapper Snoop Dogg during his October UK tour.
