The former X Factor group have announced plans to embark on their first UK arena tour in December, with tickets set to go on sale tomorrow at 10am.
However, viagogo, Europe's largest online ticket marketplace, has warned that up to 900,000 fans could be left disappointed after they received huge demand for the shows days before the tickets are released for general sale.
"One Direction's first single was the biggest-selling of the year, and we expect their tour to follow suit," viagogo director Ed Parkinson explained.
"This tour could also set a record for the year as a top seller, with 'One Direction tickets' currently the top search term on viagogo, even though tickets will not be available in the market for almost 24 hours."
With just 100,000 seats to go on sale for the tour tomorrow, the ticket demand ratio could reach 10:1.
One Direction will release their debut album on November 21 and face a chart battle with former Simon Cowell boyband Westlife.
