TI recording new music after halfway house release

The 'Dead and Gone' rapper was granted early release from jail in August, but was required to spend time in a halfway house to finish out his 11-month sentence for a 2010 drug charge.
TI returned to Twitter following his release, revealing that he has already begun working on songs for a new studio album.
He wrote: "What up world?! It's ME, no fill-in, no substitution. Officially back in action. At da 'yo' [studio] right now layin a verse to 'I spend it'… Gettin dis record 'I'm Flexin' ready 4 yall…Tryin to have it delivered by 6pm. What other records yall thank I should hop on??? I'm all da way on G-O!!! All I see is $$$, & the future, F**k da past, as of now LIFE'S GREAT!. (sic)"
TI also thanked his fans for standing by him throughout his struggles, adding: "Gotta say thanx 4all da love, support, &prayers from all who gave a s**t… Puttin da A [Atlanta] back on top is high up on my priority list. IT'S ON!!!"
The musician has signed for a reality TV show with VH1 and inked a book deal with publisher HarperCollins since his release from jail.
