Beyoncé previews new 'Countdown' music video - watch

Beyoncé has released a 30-second snippet of her new music video.

The singer will release 'Countdown' as the third official single to be lifted from her multi-million-selling album 4.

The 'Countdown' video preview sees the star with jet-black hair tied up, acting like a human clock and incorporating her pregnant belly into her choreography.

The video was directed by Adria Petty, who has previously worked with Beyoncé on the clip for her I Am... Sasha Fierce single 'Sweet Dreams'.

'Countdown' was co-written and co-produced by the 30-year-old herself and features a sample from Boyz II Men's 1991 hit 'Uhh Ahh'.

The song will be added to radio in the US on October 4, while it has received an official release date of October 30 in the UK.

Beyoncé topped VH1's '100 Greatest Songs of the '00s' with her debut song 'Crazy In Love' earlier this week.
