The singer said that he likes the idea of a range of artists forming a band, but is not keen on Jagger's project SuperHeavy, which features Joss Stone and Dave Stewart among others.
Gallagher told The Quietus: "I'd love to do a supergroup as long as it wasn't like SuperHeavy. F**king ridiculous."
Of a supergroup he would appear in, he named: "You know, me, Johnny Marr, Mani and Paul Weller. That would be great."
The 'AKA... What A Life' star also confessed that he is frustrated he can't move on from Oasis as his brother Liam keeps dragging the fallout up in the media.

"I'll tell you what really annoys me – when I read about 'the warring brothers'. I'm not at war with anyone. I'm just trying to get on with my f**king thing. But every time I open a magazine and his head's in it, all I have to do is scan down to the bit where he's calling me a c**t."
He concluded: "And if he's supposed to be in the best band in the world then why the f**k is he arsed about me? I mean, just get on with your own thing and leave me be."
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be released in the UK on October 17 and the US on November 8.
Gallagher recently told Digital Spy that he thinks this year's X Factor groups are "f**king appalling".
