The classical crossover singer said that she would be open to the idea of working with producers from genres outside of what her fans are used to.
"People have done remixes of my songs in the past, but to work on a brand new track with somebody like David [Guetta] would be brilliant," Jenkins told The Sun. "I'd love that."
Jenkins, who releases her eighth studio album Daydream next week, admitted that it has been difficult to be away from music for so long.
"It's been three years since my last album came out and that's the longest gap I've had," she explained. "I was absolutely desperate to get back into the studio."
The singer's new album includes the track 'Abigail's Song' from the Doctor Who Christmas special 'A Christmas Carol' and a French cover of 'I Dreamed A Dream'.
Jenkins recently confirmed that she is unlikely to return for a second season of ITV reality series Popstar to Operastar.
Daydream will be released on October 10.
