Jennifer Hudson 'wasn't paid for Michael Jackson tribute gig no-show'

Jennifer Hudson's representatives have denied claims that the singer was paid a fee for the Michael Jackson tribute concert last weekend in Cardiff.
Hudson was one of three acts who pulled out of the show before Saturday. The Black Eyed Peas were removed from the bill due to "unavoidable circumstances", while Chris Brown was reportedly denied a working visa to enter Wales.

It has been claimed that Hudson was paid by the concert's producers despite withdrawing because of "major production issues", but Lisa Kasteler of WKT Public Relations has denied the suggestions on the singer's behalf.
"In the last few days, it has been written that our client, Jennifer Hudson, has been paid by the producers of the Michael Forever event for a performance that she did not give," a statement read.
"Ms Hudson has not received any amounts in connection with the Michael Forever event."
Acts who participated in the event included the Jackson Brothers, Christina Aguilera, Alexandra Burke, Cee Lo Green, Pixie Lott, JLS, La Toya Jackson, Leona Lewis, Smokey Robinson and, via a video link-up, Beyoncé.
