The Strictly Come Dancing host announced that the "special" collaboration will feature on his new record These Are My Favourites.
Forsyth will sing with his granddaughter Sophie Purdie on a rendition of 'Smile'.
These Are My Favourites will also feature a host of other classic favourites including 'Let There Be Love', 'Can't Take My Eyes Off You' and a Nat King Cole duet 'Paper Moon'.
Speaking about teaming up with Purdie, Forsyth is quoted by The Mirror as joking: "Apart from her voice, she is absolutely beautiful."
The 83-year-old collected his knighthood from Buckingham Palace earlier today.
These Are My Favourites will be released on November 7.
