The former Pussycat Dolls singer was originally due to release Killer Love on November 15, but has now pushed the record's launch to December, The Hollywood Reporter claims.
Scherzinger's label would only confirm Killer Love will now be available from early December and has yet to give a reason for the unexpected delay.
A version of Killer Love was released in the UK back in March, but the US release features a reworked track-listing and also includes fresh collaborations with 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg and Sting.
Scherzinger recently spoke out about her admiration for fellow X Factor judge Paula Abdul while laughing off rumours of a feud between the reality show panelists.
Killer Love will now be released on December 6.
