The Ting Tings announce 'Show Me Yours' UK tour

The Ting Tings have announced a string of UK tour dates.

The duo will play eight shows across the country next month, ahead of the release of their second studio album in early 2012.

They will start in Leeds at Cockpit on November 21 and conclude in Newcastle at the O2 Academy 2 on November 30.

The Ting Tings have teamed up with some of the best arts and music courses in the UK to give students the chance to help style the campaign for their new material.

They will be looking for talented individuals to help them with designing fashion items to wear, ideas for music videos, mixing tracks and artwork and poster designs.

The work will then be used and showcased by band members Jules De Martino and Katie White at each venue.

The Ting Tings unveiled the music video for their new single 'Hang It Up' earlier today.

Their as-yet-untitled second opus is listed as being released in the UK on January 16, 2012.
