Springsteen's hometown Asbury Park Library is to give concert programmes, articles, books and other items relating to the 'Born to Run' singer to Monmouth University on November 1.
Museum organisers are hoping to eventually expand the exhibition to include video and sound recordings from Springsteen's near-40-year career in the future.
Visitors are required to make an appointment if they would like to view the display.
Springsteen will reportedly meet with E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt soon to discuss the future of the group following the death of saxophonist Clarence Clemons.
The E Street Band frontman will also join comics Jon Stewart and Ricky Gervais at the Stand Up for Heroes benefit show on November 9 in New York City.
