The Voice mentor and Maroon 5 frontman took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to tell the network never to play the band's songs in the future.
"Dear Fox News, don't play our music on your evil f**king channel ever again. Thank you," he wrote on the microblogging site.
It is unknown which Maroon 5 track or tracks were used on Fox News, nor during which programme.
Maroon 5 have recently expressed an interest in collaborating with Mumford & Sons and Adele in the future.
Earlier this week, the 'Moves Like Jagger' rockers were confirmed to play the upcoming Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, due to air on November 29.
