The 'You The Boss' rapper was hospitalised in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday after suffering two separate seizures as he travelled to gigs in the southeastern US.
Ross first cancelled a show in Greensboro, North Carolina and later pulled out of Friday's scheduled performance at Georgia State University's homecoming celebration.
He has also rescheduled Sunday's concert at LA's Nokia Theatre, which was to also feature Busta Rhymes and Eric Bellinger.
Promoters Tru Royalty Entertainment have delayed the gig until Friday, January 13, 2012 in order to give Ross time to recuperate.
Tru Royalty said in a statement: "We truly want Rick Ross to be at 110% so that he is able to offer fans a once-in-a-lifetime show. His healthy recovery is our main concern, and we have worked with management to ensure the new date gives Rick Ross enough time to recoup. (sic)"
Ross will release his fifth studio album God Forgives, I Don't on December 13.
