The Streets' Mike Skinner has started a new band.

The star has formed a new duo with The Music singer Rob Harvey named The DOT and has already created a handful of demo tracks.

The pair have posted 14 songs online through the-dot.net, with Harvey singing lead vocals on a majority of the tracks.

Harvey split from The Music back in August, while Skinner is playing his final few gigs across the country as part of The Streets.

The 'OMG' band will play their last ever shows in London on October 28-29 as part of the Freeze Festival at Battersea Power Station.

They will then perform their final ever gigs during their headline slot at The Big Reunion in Skegness on November 19 and 26.
