Britney Spears nominated for 'Best Worldwide Act' at MTV EMAs 2011

The singer was voted as North America's candidate for the new award, which will celebrate the diversity and breadth of global music.
Spears will face competition from Lena of Europe, BIGBANG from Asia, Abdel Fattah Grini from Africa/India/Middle East and Restart from Latin America.
The winner will be chosen by fans, who can now vote through the official MTV EMAs website until November 4.
The result will then be announced at this year's ceremony at Belfast's Odyssey Arena on November 6, which will be hosted by Selena Gomez.
Coldplay, Jessie J, LMFAO, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lady GaGa, Bruno Mars, Snow Patrol, Jason Derulo and Queen will perform at the show.
