The R&B group teamed up with Bieber for the song 'Fa La La', which will appear on the teen popstar's holiday LP Under The Mistletoe.
Morris said in an interview with Reuters that 'Fa La La' is a timeless track that will appeal to fans of all ages.
"[It] was the perfect avenue for us to do something different because it's the type of record that doesn't matter how old you are or who you are, it doesn't matter, as long as the song sounds great," Morris explained.
Earlier this week, Usher debuted his and Bieber's new version of the holiday classic 'The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)'.
He predicted that Under The Mistletoe will become a favourite for Bieber's loyal fans, saying: "The album is full of surprises, Justin's Under The Mistletoe is going to be incredible."
Under The Misletoe, which also features Mariah Carey and The Band Perry, is released on November 1.
