Jedward: "We're going to be doing Eurovision 2012"

Jedward have confirmed rumours that they will represent Ireland again in next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The twins, who rose to fame on The X Factor, finished eighth in this year's international competition with their track 'Lipstick'.

Speaking to MTV, the pair said that their second song would be "bigger and better".

John declared: "Guess what? We're gonna be doing Eurovision 2012. It's totally awesome. We did Eurovision 2011 and since we did that we're known all across Europe and all across the world.

"And next year it's gonna be even bigger and better because we're in all these teen magazines, and we go all over Europe.

"Our song and album and everything is doing really well in all these countries, and we're really excited about doing Eurovision 2012."

He added: "Louis Walsh has all these songs lined up and we're just listening to them right now and picking a good song."

Meanwhile, Edward teased: "We're getting a better song than 'Lipstick' so the UK better watch out, because Jedward's coming to get them again next year!"
