The High Flying Birds singer-songwriter, who was knocked off the number one spot in the UK album charts this week by Coldplay, also insisted that he had never asked to work with any other artist.
"I've never been asked to do a collaboration. I guess I just don't give off that come-and-get-me vibe," he told The Sunday Mirror.

The former Oasis star then said: "I wouldn't be adverse to doing one with Coldplay or U2 - anyone who sells 50 million albums."
Gallagher last week offered his condolences to 2010 X Factor winner Matt Cardle, who he beat in last week's album countdown.
