Flights from Qantas Airways have remained motionless following a union row over job cuts.
Drummer Followill tweeted: "Dear Qantas, u suck, thanks 4 f**king up my trip 2 Oz. Joberg-Dubai-Sydney. 24 hours in the air. That's how much I love Oz.
"The silver lining is that we are throwing one hell of a halloween party on the plane. I'm going as the drunk guy in seat 5a (sic)."
The 'Sex on Fire' group, who played in Johannesburg, South Africa last night, were due to begin their Australian dates next Friday at Sydney's Acer Arena, with shows in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth also planned.
