'Mistletoe' video star: 'I admire Justin Bieber'

Ali Williams has opened up about starring in the 'Mistletoe' music video alongside Justin Bieber.

Williams revealed that while she wasn't anxious about appearing in the clip, she was surprised by the response that it received.

"My friends were freaking out a little more than I was," Williams told MTV News.

"I wasn't really prepared for all the stuff that was happening. I think that pretty much everyone has been pretty supportive. There's some things out there that are untrue, just as far as my age and stuff, but everyone has been really nice and supportive about that."

Williams went on to confess that she wasn't that familiar with Bieber's music.

"I definitely admire him," she said. "He's very successful in what he's doing. I wasn't too familiar with his music, but I was very excited to meet him, and I'm glad that I did."

Bieber unveiled the video for his new Christmas-themed track 'Mistletoe' last month.

The 17-year-old's latest album Under the Mistletoe will be released today (November 1).
