Dave Grohl has revealed that he doesn't feature on Michael Jackson's posthumous record, despite the sleeve notes saying he does.

The Foo Fighters frontman appeared alongside Lenny Kravitz on track '(I Can't Make It) Another Day' from Jackson album Michael.

However, the star has admitted that he is unhappy with the credit as his actual drumming for the song was not used.

Grohl told Red Bulletin: "That was messed up actually. Lenny Kravitz - who I only met once - called and asked if I want to play drums on a track. I said, 'Sure', played drums on it and I never heard from them again.

"On the sleeve notes it says 'Michael Jackson featuring Lenny Kravtiz and Dave Grohl' but they didn't use any of my recordings. That's not cool."

A second posthumous Michael Jackson album, titled Immortal, will be released on November 21.

The collection features "reimagined" versions of the late singer's most iconic songs including 'Ben', 'Beat It' and 'Man In The Mirror'.
