Westlife members have all thought about going solo, says Shane Filan

Westlife members Shane Filan, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Nicky Byrne have all thought about going solo.

The Irish boyband announced last month that they would split in 2012, following their farewell arena tour.

Speaking to The Sun, Filan said: "The first person to decide to do a solo record, the other three will all be there.

"Everyone's thought about going solo - I would love to continue singing for a living."

Westlife's Greatest Hits hits the stores on November 21, while the single 'Lighthouse' is available for download from November 13.
