Snow Patrol announce extra UK arena tour dates

Snow Patrol have announced extra dates as part of their arena tour of the UK and Ireland.

The band will play a further ten dates across the UK at the start of 2012 in support of their upcoming album Fallen Empires.

The new string of concerts starts at Glasgow's SECC on January 27 and will conclude at London's O2 Arena on February 10.

Snow Patrol will be supported by electronic band and Mercury Prize nominees Everything Everything at all ten venues.

The newly-confirmed dates follow their handful of gigs in Belfast and Dublin in January 2012, which they revealed in September.

Snow Patrol's new album Fallen Empires will be released in the UK on November 14.

  • January 27 - Glasgow, SECC

  • January 30 - Aberdeen, AECC

  • January 31 - Liverpool, Echo Arena

  • February 1 - Nottingham, Capital FM Arena

  • February 3 - Manchester, MEN Arena

  • February 4 - Birmingham, LG Arena

  • February 5 - Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena

  • February 7 - Sheffield, Motorpoint Arena

  • February 8 - Bournemouth, BIC

  • February 10 - London, O2 Arena
