Exclusive: Kelly Clarkson: 'Adele vocal surgery would scare s**t out of me'

Kelly Clarkson has said that having vocal surgery on her voice would "scare the s**t" out of her.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the 'Mr Know It All' star discussed her eagerness to work with Adele.



"I love her, but I guess [a collaboration] won't be happening any time soon!" Clarkson said, referring to the 22-year-old's recent problems, which saw her undergo surgery in a Boston hospital earlier this week.

She continued: "Vocal surgery would scare the s**t out of me. I wouldn't like that. But I think it'll be good for her. A voice like that, it sounds better when it's torn. Do you know what I'm saying? It sounds better when it's raspy."



Adele's throat problems have resulted in her having to cancel all concerts and public appearances for the rest of the year.

Clarkson, who performed at the switching-on of Regent Street's Christmas lights in London last night, recently admitted that she has been "stalking" Adele since meeting her at an event.
