Speaking about the programme, Bieber posted on Twitter: "shooting this ITV Special for #UnderTheMistletoe here in London and u know I had to bring my guy @TinieTempah thru 4 a UK REMIX! #DrummerBoy"

It is thought the pair will collaborate on the 17-year-old's reworking of Bing Crosby's classic 'Drummer Boy'.

Bieber's album version contains a guest rap from US hip-hop star Busta Rhymes. It is expected that Tinie Tempah will fill in for the UK televised performance.

Following the filming of the performance, the British rapper stated on Twitter: "Just done something Incredible!"

Bieber has recently been at the centre of a paternity claim by 20-year-old Mariah Yeater.

The teen has denied fathering Yeater's child and has agreed to take a DNA test to prove he is not the biological parent of the child.
