'Twilight's Nikki Reed debuts duet with 'American Idol's Paul McDonald

Nikki Reed has collaborated with her husband, American Idol's Paul McDonald.

The Twilight actress called in to On Air with Ryan Seacrest to debut her duet with McDonald, titled 'Now That I Found You'.

She revealed that the duet "happened about a month ago".

"Paul basically lives with a guitar strapped around his body, and he just walks around the house and plays stuff; I've experimented with writing lyrics for other people in the past," she explained.

"He recorded the music, and on the way back from Europe, a week and a half ago, I just sat and wrote lyrics to his music. Then we went in this Saturday, and recorded it with Andre Harris."

Reed added that McDonald wants to continue working together and become "a super team".

Although she revealed that she's "a little more shy", she said that she may eventually do more collaborations with her husband.

Reed and McDonald met at the Red Riding Hood premiere in March and the couple confirmed their engagement in June. They wed in Malibu last month.
