The singer was due to release Killer Love in the US on December 6, after originally pushing back the release from November.
However, the star has now hinted that the LP will not be available to buy there until the New Year.
Responding to a fan's question on Twitter, Scherzinger replied: "u feeling Peep Show? i love that song. Looking at releasing the US album in jan 2012."
The former Pussycat Doll released the European version of Killer Love back in March and recently unveiled a repackaged edition of the LP.
The reworked version includes new single 'Try With Me' along with a further two new tracks and the 50 Cent remix of 'Right There'.
Scherzinger is currently mentoring the Over 25s category on The X Factor USA.
