Pearl Jam have landed a prestigious slot supporting U2 on their tour later in the year.

The Irish band will play rescheduled dates in Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Japan, after they were postponed earlier in the year. The tour kicks off in Brisbane on November 7, and ends in Honolulu on December 9.

U2's manager Paul McGuinness commented: "The band are really pleased Pearl Jam could join the bill. A great end to what has already been a very successful tour."

Rapper Kanye West completes the star-studded bill for the tour.
